Steel Couplings
Since the first coupling produced nearly 40 years ago, RU-STEEL's philosophy has been to design and manufacture a complete range of transmission couplings (from Nm 40 to 1520550, including "elastic couplings", "self-lubricating couplings", "flexible couplings", "super elastic couplings") and meet customer's requests. Elastic couplings are available in a very wide range from 49Nm to 135,000 Nm in bore ranges from 50 to 240mm diameter. Standard range covers spacer type (with 1 side elastic coupling and the other side of rigid coupling), flange type, brake drum construction and with removable gear rings (ideal for assembly/dismantling).
ZEUS range of Gear couplings are the latest in their continuing range .These couplings comprise of 2 equal gear rings meshing with each other and connected through high resistance resilient rubber blocks.
Elastic couplings offer flexibility between the shafts due to assembly conditions and the rubber blocks cushion the transfer of axial thrusts between the 2 shafts, due to their structural characteristics.
